Hive Tour Safety & Guidelines

Your safety—and the well-being of our bees—is our top priority. Please review the following guidelines before participating.

Participation Requirements

    •    All participants must sign a waiver before joining the tour.

    •    A safety briefing will be provided, covering proper protective gear and how to move safely around the hives.

    •    A first aid kit is available for minor injuries, but we cannot administer any medications due to liability reasons. This includes EpiPens, Benadryl, or other allergy treatments. In the event of a serious reaction, emergency services will be contacted immediately at the expense of the participant.

    •    Any reckless or harmful behavior toward yourself, others, or the bees will result in immediate removal from the tour.

    •    Children under 5 are not permitted on the tour. All minors must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.

Bee Allergy Warning

If you are allergic to bees, this tour is not recommended. While our bees are generally gentle and stings are rare, they are always a possibility. Participation is at your own risk.

Weather Policy

Hive tours are weather-dependent, as bees do not like to be disturbed in cold, rainy, or windy conditions. If the weather is unsuitable, tours will be canceled, and participants will be notified as soon as possible. Ticket will be applied to another date.

What to Wear

To ensure your safety and comfort, please follow these clothing guidelines:

    •    Long, loose-fitting pants are required.

    •    Light-colored clothing is recommended.

    •    Closed-toe shoes are mandatory.

    •    Pro tip: Wear long socks and tuck your pants into them for extra protection.

    •    Avoid wearing perfumes, heavily scented lotions, or shampoos on the day of the tour, as strong scents can attract bees.

    •    Remove constrictive jewelry such as rings or tight bracelets. If stung, swelling can make tight jewelry dangerous.

By following these guidelines, we can ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. We look forward to sharing the fascinating world of bees with you!
